Anne thought she’d be a therapist and became a casting director instead. The two jobs are not so different! She has 15 years experience in unscripted casting and development and a bit of time in front of the camera (ask her about her 15 seconds of fame as a “Talking Wall” in a Terminex commercial.) She began honing her casting senses on 200 episodes of Intervention (and cast an Emmy-award winning episode) and developed her ability to tease out stories as much from what was being said as from what was unspoken. Since then she’s cast hundreds of episodes of television, Super Bowl commercials, and worked in daily news. She says if she doesn’t get butterflies before starting a new project, she’s probably on the wrong rollercoaster. She loves what she does and hates plastic bags just as much.
